The third Variational TradFi Trading Competition is a 14-day event for eligible Omni users. Rankings use profitable TradFi-market activity, with 20,000 USDC in prizes for the top 20 competitors.

Competition overview

What counts and who can rank

These details are paraphrased from the official Variational competition documentation. Variational may amend its terms, so recheck the source before trading.

TradFi markets only

The score only counts PnL and notional volume from TradFi markets during the competition window.

Minimum volume

Trade at least 250,000 USDC in TradFi-market notional volume during the event to be eligible to rank.

Score formula

Rankings reward profitable activity and volume.

Score = PnL × √Volume

Eligible users only

Participation depends on the Restricted Persons Policy, local law, and any account or regional limitations.

One prize per user

Each user may win only one prize in this competition. Multi-account activity can lead to disqualification.

KYC for winners

Winners must provide required KYC within 30 days after the event or forfeit the prize.

Prize pool

20,000 USDC across the top 20

Prizes are sent to each winner’s connected Arbitrum address within one week after the winner submits the required KYC information.

Join in four careful steps

Confirm eligibility

Read Variational’s official competition terms and Restricted Persons Policy before using the platform.

Create or open your account

Use the official Omni app and connect the intended Arbitrum-compatible wallet.

Trade eligible markets

Trade TradFi markets during the event and meet the 250,000 USDC notional minimum. General crypto volume does not count toward this competition score.

Track the leaderboard

Use the official Competition tab to monitor the score column. Wash trading, self-transactions, matched trading, fake volume, multi-account farming, and market manipulation can lead to disqualification.

Risk note: Leveraged perpetual trading can cause substantial losses or liquidation. Competition participation does not remove trading, eligibility, jurisdiction, KYC, or liquidation risk.

Competition questions

Is the competition active?

Yes. The official window began July 17, 2026 at 00:00 UTC and ends July 31, 2026 at 00:00 UTC.

What activity counts?

Only TradFi-market PnL and TradFi-market volume during the event count toward the competition score.

Does 250,000 USDC mean a deposit?

No. It is the minimum eligible notional trading volume on TradFi markets, not a required deposit amount.

How are winners paid?

After required KYC, prizes are sent to the connected Arbitrum address. The official terms state payment occurs within one week of submitting KYC.

Can restricted users participate?

No. Availability depends on Variational’s Restricted Persons Policy and applicable legal requirements.
